Direct vs regular plan
Every mutual fund scheme offers two plans holding the same portfolio: direct and regular. A direct plan carries no distributor commission, so its expense ratio is lower and its NAV (Net Asset Value) rises slightly faster over time. A regular plan includes commission paid to the distributor who services your account. The real choice is cost versus service: direct suits investors who research, transact, rebalance and review entirely on their own. As an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor, Apex TechFin is remunerated through regular plans, and we state that openly.
